Meditate therein day and night!



Gen 24:63 And Isaac went out, to meditate in the field, at the euentide: and hee lift vp his eyes, and saw, and behold, the camels were comming.


Jos 1:8 This booke of the Law shal not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest obserue to doe according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt haue good successe.

Jos 1:9 Haue not I commanded thee? be strong, and of a good courage, bee not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee, whither soeuer thou goest.


Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsell of the vngodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornefull.

Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and in his Law doeth he meditate day and night.

Psa 1:3 And he shalbe like a tree planted by the riuers of water, that bringeth foorth his fruit in his season, his leafe also shall not wither, and whatsoeuer he doeth, shall prosper.


Psa 5:1 [To the chiefe musician vpon Nehiloth, A Psalme of Dauid.] Giue eare to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

Psa 5:2 Hearken vnto the voice of my crie, my King, and my God: for vnto thee will I pray.

Psa 19:12 Who can vnderstand his errours? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

Psa 19:13 Keepe back thy seruant also from presumptuous sinnes, let them not haue dominion ouer me: then shall I be vpright, and I shalbe innocent from the great transgression.

Psa 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, bee acceptable in thy sight, O Lord my strength, and my redeemer.


Psa 49:3 My mouth shall speake of wisedome: and the meditation of my heart shalbe of vnderstanding.


Psa 63:5 My soule shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatnesse: and my mouth shall praise thee with ioyfull lips:

Psa 63:6 When I remember thee vpon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Psa 63:7 Because thou hast bene my helpe; therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I reioyce.


Psa 77:11 I will remember the workes of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

Psa 77:12 I will meditate also of all thy worke, and talke of thy doings.

Psa 77:13 Thy way, O God, is in the Sanctuarie: who is so great a God, as our God?


Psa 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts: and haue respect vnto thy wayes.

Psa 119:16 I will delight my selfe in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Psa 119:17 [GIMEL.] Deale bountifully with thy seruant; that I may liue, and keepe thy word.

Psa 119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wonderous things out of thy Law.


Psa 119:23 Princes also did sit and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.

Psa 119:24 Thy testimonies also are my delight: and my counsellers.

Psa 119:25 [DALETH.] My soule cleaueth vnto the dust: quicken thou mee according to thy word.

Psa 119:26 I haue declared my wayes, and thou heardest me: teach me thy Statutes.

Psa 119:27 Make me to vnderstand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talke of thy wonderous workes.


Psa 119:48 My hands also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued: and I will meditate in thy statutes.


Psa 119:78 Let the proud be ashamed, for they dealt peruersly with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.

Psa 119:97 [MEM.] O How loue I thy Law! it is my meditation all the day.

Psa 119:98 Thou through thy Commandements hast made me wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.

Psa 119:99 I haue more vnderstanding then all my teachers: for thy Testimonies are my meditation.

Psa 119:100 I vnderstand more then the ancients: because I keepe thy precepts.

Psa 119:101 I haue refrained my feete from euery euill way: that I may keepe thy word.

Psa 119:102 I haue not departed from thy Iudgements: for thou hast taught me.

Psa 119:103 How sweet are thy words vnto my taste! yea, sweeter then hony to my mouth.

Psa 119:104 Through thy precepts I get vnderstanding: therefore I hate euery false way.

Psa 119:105 [NVN.] Thy word is a lampe vnto my feete: and a light vnto my path.

Psa 119:106 I haue sworne, and I will performe it: that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.

Psa 119:148 Mine eyes preuent the night watches: that I might meditate in thy word.


Psa 143:5 I remember the dayes of old, I meditate on all thy workes: I muse on the worke of thy hands.


1Ti 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was giuen thee by prophesie, with the laying on of the hands of the Presbyterie.

1Ti 4:15 Meditate vpon these things, giue thy selfe wholly to them, that thy profiting may appeare to all.

1Ti 4:16 Take heed vnto thy selfe, and vnto the doctrine: continue in them: for in doing this, thou shalt both saue thy selfe, and them that heare thee.


Sir 6:37 Let thy minde be vpon the ordinances of the Lord, & meditate continually in his commandements: he shal establish thine heart, and giue thee wisedome at thine owne desire.


Sir 14:20 Blessed is the man that doeth meditate good things in wisdome, and that reasoneth of holy things by his vnderstanding.


Sir 39:1 But hee that giueth his minde to the Law of the most high, and is occupied in the meditation thereof, wil seeke out the wisdome of all the ancient, and be occupied in prophecies.


Sir 39:5 Hee will giue his heart to resort early to the Lord that made him, and will pray before the most high, and will open his mouth in prayer, and make supplication for his sinnes.

Sir 39:6 When the great Lord will, he shall bee filled with the spirit of vnderstanding: he shal powre out wise sentences, and giue thankes vnto the Lord in his prayer.

Sir 39:7 Hee shall direct his counsell and knowledge, and in his secrets shall hee meditate
