Hebrews 7:25

[25]Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

[34]And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

[35]And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

[36]And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

[37]And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

[38]Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

[39]And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

Matthew 14:22-23

[22]And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

[53]Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

[54]But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

Luke 3:21-22

[21]Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

[22]And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.

Luke 5:15-16

[15]But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

Luke 11:1-4

[1]And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

[2]And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

[3]Give us day by day our daily bread.

[4]And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

[41]And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

[42]Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

[44]And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

[45]And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

[46]And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

John 14:14-18

[14]If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

[15]If ye love me, keep my commandments.

[16]And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

[17]Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

[18]I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
